Happy September!

We hope you are doing well as we quickly approach the Fall season! September is a busy month for us at GNRC and we have lots of important updates to share with you. We have several events going on this month including our Annual Meeting and Partnership Luncheon. We are also planning some major changes around the office as we pack up and get ready to move into a new location! We are also pleased to share some information on our agency spotlight, the Cumberland University Community Arts Council. We are grateful for your continued support and hope you can spend some time serving in the Middle Tennessee community with us this season.

As some of you may know, GNRC has operated out of two office buildings for the past 5 years. While we have made the best of it, we are excited to be moving into a much larger space that will accommodate all 80+ of our staff members. Our Butler's Run Office (on 2nd Avenue) will be moving at the end of September and our Metro Center office will follow in December. Our new office will be located at 44 Vantage Way, which is just around the corner from our current Metro Center office. Although we're not moving far, it will still be a very challenging time for us all as we transition all of our equipment to the new building.

If you are available this month to help us get ready for the Butler's Run Office move we would be so grateful! We will need assistance organizing files, taking inventory of documents, moving files from filing cabinets into moving bins, organizing IT equipment and computers for move preparation, and preparing documents for shredding. None of the tasks mentioned above require any heavy lifting! We will reimburse you for parking and will have coffee, tea, and water available for you while you work.

If you can help out for 2 hours or more, please check out the full posting and sign up for a shift here.

This month, we would like to take the opportunity to highlight the Cumberland University Community Arts Council.
