Who We Are

The mission of the 23rd CAC is to serve as a safe and child friendly center where members of the Child Protective Investigative Teams can provide comprehensive services and a multi-disciplinary approach to child victims of severe sexual and physical abuse and their non-offending family members. The 23rd CAC works to unite public, private and community partners to ensure the safety, health and well-being of abused children.

What We Do

A children’s advocacy center (CAC) is a child-focused, facility-based program in which representatives from many disciplines, including law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical, victim advocacy and child advocacy, work together to conduct interviews and make team decisions about investigation, treatment, management and prosecution of child abuse cases.
