Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee (BBBSMT) creates and supports professionally-supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. As an organization, BBBSMT works toward the vision that all youth achieve their full potential. By becoming a Big, you can be the steady, fun, encouraging presence that helps youth build confidence and know they've got someone in their corner every step of the way.
Our Site-Based program is perfect for those who want a predictable schedule and enjoy low-key, fun activities right at a local school or community site. As a Site-Based Mentor, you will be a consistent, positive presence in a child's life by showing up regularly for one-on-one time, helping them to uphold strong academic performance and building positive school connectedness. It’s a low-pressure, high-impact way to help a child build social competence and family connectedness.
